Hollywood, Florida – Designing Success, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Texas Offender’s Re-entry Initiative (T.O.R.I.) selected its Tracking At-A-Glance® Case Management and Performance Tracking Software to help track and case manage male and female ex-offenders, on probation or parole, who may be experiencing hopelessness, lack of support, unemployment, psychological, social, mental, medical and/or substance abuse issues that might hinder them from succeeding upon re-entering into society.

Founded in December 2004 by Bishop T.D. Jakes, T.O.R.I. is an intensive 12-month case management program that offers six core services: employment, housing, education, family reunification, health care and spiritual guidance. Since its inception, T.O.R.I. has served more than 10,000 formerly incarcerated individuals returning to Texas transitioning to life outside the penal system, thereby helping them to increase their chances for success while reducing the likelihood of recidivism.

“Having a strong case management infrastructure is important in providing the quality support, care and services our clients deserve,” said Tina Naidoo, Executive Director of T.O.R.I. regarding the procurement of Tracking At-A-Glance®. “Much like our working philosophy, we will use this program to ensure that none of our clients nor their needs slip through the proverbial cracks.”

The Designing Success team conducted training at T.O.R.I.’s Dallas location, spending three days showing T.O.R.I. staff how to customize Tracking At-A-Glance® to meet the needs of their program. The team completed a comprehensive walk-through of the software and dedicated ‘hands-on’ time for each user to practice using the system by entering real data. “Designing Success is honored to be a partner with such an outstanding organization making great strides in reducing the likelihood of recidivism of formerly incarcerated individuals,” said Samuel Wachtel, Vice President of Designing Success. “Tracking At-A-Glance® will assist the T.O.R.I. staff in managing their caseload, report outcomes and enable case managers to spend more time providing services to their clients.”

As a bonus, the Designing Success team was honored to attend services and personally meet Bishop Jakes.
